CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College men's tennis team celebrated "Senior Day" prior to Saturday's match with #19 Auburn Montgomery, but the Warhawks were victorious with a 6-1 victory at the MC Tennis Complex.

DOUBLES ACTION
 - The Warhawks opened up quickly by winning all three doubles matches to grab an early 1-0 lead.
 - The tightest match came at #3 with
Brady McDaniel and
Joe Jarvis falling by a score of 6-3.
SINGLES ACTION
 - Senior
Maksym Konovalov gave MC their point in the match with a three-set win at #6 (2-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-5)).
 - AUM won all five other singles matches in straight sets.
 - The tightest came at #5 as
Shane Samyn lost by a score of 6-4, 6-4.

NEXT UP
 - The Choctaws will wrap up the regular season on Sunday when they host Shorter at 10:00 a.m. at the MC Tennis Complex.
 - With a win, MC would clinch the final spot in the GSC Tournament that opens next Thursday.
