CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College women's tennis team won all three doubles matches but Lee University roared back for a 5-2 win on Thursday afternoon at the MC Tennis Complex.

DOUBLES ACTION
 - The Lady Choctaws got off to a fast start as
Alisa Morozova and
Kennedy Rodriguez won the #3 match by a score of 6-1.
 -
Ely Alas and
Fernanda Cota clinched the point with a 6-1 win of their own at #1.
 - The #2 match went to a tie-break, but
Paulina Cota and
Maria Rodriguez prevailed with a 7-6 (7-5) victory.
SINGLES ACTION
 - In singles play, the Flames scored their first two points of the match with straight-set wins at #4 and #2.
 -
Fernanda Cota knotted the team score at 2-2 with a three-set win at #3 (4-6, 7-6 (7-4), 6-2).
 - Lee won a pivotal point at #1 as Lisa Kirr took down
Paulina Cota in three sets to grab a 3-2 lead (4-6, 6-4, 6-4).
 - The Flames clinched the match with two straight-set wins at #5 and #6.

 - The Lady Choctaws are scheduled to be back in action on Saturday when they host #23 Auburn Montgomery at 10:00 a.m. at the MC Tennis Complex.
