PENSACOLA, Fla. --- The Mississippi College men's team finished their time in Pensacola with a 7-0 loss to #4 Valdosta State on Monday morning at the Ralph "Skeeter" Carson Tennis Complex.

DOUBLES ACTION
 - The Choctaws came out swinging in doubles action as
Matias Ballatore and
Carlos Trujillo took the #1 doubles team in the country in Yohan Nguyen and Florian Simbozel to a 6-4 score.
 - The Blazers clinched the initial point by winning the other two matches and dropping just one total game.
SINGLES ACTION
 - VSU won each of the singles matches in straight sets.
 -
Brady McDaniel played a tight match at #2, falling 7-5, 6-4 to Christian Wedel, who is ranked #22 in the nation.
 - Ballatore fell to Simbozel, who is ranked 12th nationally, by a score of 6-2, 7-5 at the #1 position.

 - The Choctaws are scheduled to be back in action on Tuesday (April 13) when they return home to face Spring Hill at 2:00 p.m. at the MC Tennis Complex.
