MEMPHIS, Tenn. --- Junior
Gracie Trahan and sophomore
Rayne Minor combined for eight of MC's 13 hits in a 10-1 win over Christian Brothers on Sunday afternoon at St. Benedict at Auburndale.
The victory gave the Lady Choctaws (14-12, 12-8 GSC) a series win over the Lady Bucs (7-21, 7-17 GSC) after the teams split a doubleheader on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
 - After a scoreless 1st inning, Trahan gave the Lady Choctaws a lead in the 2nd with a two-out triple that scored
Annemarie Peavy.
 - In the 3rd,
Jordan LaFosse doubled home
Rayne Minor and MC took a 2-0 lead.
 - It was all the offense
Avery Barnett would need, who allowed just four hits in her second complete game effort of the weekend.
 - The Lady Choctaws scored twice more in the 4th to push the lead to 4-0 on run-scoring hits from
Paige Hulin and Minor.
 - The Bucs scored their lone run of the game in the 4th on an RBI single from Mackenzi Puckett.
 - MC got the run back and pushed the lead to 7-1 as two runs came home to score on a Trahan double, who scored on a CBU error.
 - Trahan and Minor each drove in runs with singles in the 6th to give the game its final score of 10-1.
KEY STATS
 - Trahan went 4-for-4 with three runs scored and three RBI, including a triple and a double.
 - Minor also went 4-for-4 with two RBI, a run scored and two stolen bases.

Shelby Carlson, who went 4-for-4 on Saturday, had two more hits and two runs scored on Sunday.
 - Barnett (6-2) gave up just four hits and one earned run with three strikeouts and no walks in the victory.
 - Josie Bond had two of CBU's four hits in the contest.
 - Macy Cumming (5-6) took the loss for CBU, giving up eight hits and four earned runs over 3.1 innings.

NEXT UP
 - The Lady Choctaws are scheduled to be in non-conference action on Tuesday (April 13) when they travel to Mobile for a doubleheader with Spring Hill (2:00 pm).
