Choctaws Fall to #4 West Florida, 7-0

PENSACOLA, Fla. --- The Mississippi College men's tennis team dropped a road match to nationally-ranked West Florida on Sunday afternoon at the Ralph "Skeeter" Carson Tennis Complex.
 

#8 WEST FLORIDA 7, MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE 0

DOUBLES ACTION
  - The Choctaws grabbed an upset victory in doubles action as Matias Ballatore and Carlos Trujillo took down Salvador Bandeira and Gabriel Nery, who were ranked #11 in the country as a doubles squad (6-3).
  - The Argos, however, won the other two doubles matches to take the early 1-0 lead.

SINGLES ACTION
  - The Argos showed their prowess in the singles action, winning all six matches in straight sets.
  - The tightest matches came at #2 and #3 where Brady McDaniel and Joe Jarvis took the second set to an extra game.
 

NEXT UP
  - The Choctaws are scheduled to be back in action on Monday (April 12) when they face #4 Valdosta State in Pensacola.
