Men's Tennis Falls at #19 Delta State

CLEVELAND, Miss. --- The Mississippi College men's tennis team lost at nationally-ranked Delta State, 6-1, on Saturday afternoon at the Cleveland Country Club.
 

DOUBLES ACTION
  - The Choctaws were able to pick up the doubles point, grabbing wins at #2 and #3.
  - Mattias Ballatore and Carlos Trujillo won the #2 match by a score of 6-1.
  - Joe Jarvis and Brady McDaniel then clinched the opening point with a 6-1 win at #3.

SINGLES ACTION
  - The Statesmen stormed back, however, winning each of the six singles matches in straight sets.
  - The tightest came at #1 where Ballatore went to a tie-break in the second set.

NEXT UP
  - The Choctaws will be back in action on Friday (March 19) when they host Texas-Tyler at 10:00 a.m.
