JACKSON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College men's tennis team dropped a mid-week match to Division I Jackson State, 7-0, on Thursday afternoon at the JSU Tennis Courts.
The Choctaws (1-5) played with just five players in the match and the Tigers (4-4) took advantage with the sweep.

DOUBLES ACTION
 - The Tigers clinched the doubles point with a 6-0 win at #2 position after winning the #3 point by default.
SINGLES ACTION
 - The Choctaws trailed 2-0 after losing the #6 point by default.
 - MC played a pair of matches to three sets as
Shane Samyn split the first two sets at #3, falling in the final by a score of 10-7.

Maksym Konovalov also went three sets at #5, dropping the final by a score of 10-6.

 - The Choctaws will be back in action on Friday when they host Texas Tyler at 10:00 a.m. at the MC Tennis Courts.
