Choctaws Fall at #20 West Alabama

LIVINGSTON, Ala. --- The Mississippi College men's tennis team dropped their first Gulf South Conference match of the season in a 6-1 loss to #20 West Alabama on Wednesday afternoon at Vaughan Tennis Courts.

The Choctaws dropped to 1-3 with a 1-1 GSC record, while the Tigers improved to 3-2 with a 2-0 league record.

DOUBLES ACTION
  - The Tigers cruised to the doubles point by winning all three matches, taking an early 1-0 lead.

SINGLES ACTION
  - Maksym Konovalov grabbed MC's point at the #6 singles spot, going three sets to get the victory (1-6, 6-3, 10-8).
  - The Tigers were able to pick up wins at all other singles positions to get the 6-1 victory.

NEXT UP
  - The Choctaws are scheduled to be back in action on Saturday when they travel to Cleveland to face rival Delta State at 1:00 p.m.
