MOBILE, Ala. --- The Mississippi College men's tennis team dropped a road match to NAIA #17 Mobile, 5-2, on Saturday afternoon at the Gerald Wallace Tennis Center.
The Choctaws fell to 3-4 on the year, while the Rams improved to 3-1.

DOUBLES ACTION
 - The Rams were able to get the all-important doubles point with wins at the #1 and #3 positions.

Carlos Trujillo and
Matias Ballatore were able to get a win at #2 by a score of 6-4.

SINGLES ACTION
 - The Choctaws were able to get the point back when
Shane Samyn picked up a straight-set victory (6-2, 6-1) at the #3 spot.
 - After the Rams took a 2-1 lead,
Francois Le Tallec knotted things up with a 6-2, 7-5 victory at the #1 position.
 - Mobile got a win at #4 to take a 3-2 lead, and the final two matches went to three sets, but the Rams came away victorious for the overall win.

 - The Choctaws will be back in action on Monday when they face Spring Hill in Mobile at 11:00 a.m.
