ARKADELPHIA, Ark. --- The Mississippi College men's tennis team opened the Ouachita Baptist Invitational with a 6-1 loss to Ouachita Baptist on Friday night at the Ward Tennis Center.
The Choctaws fell to 1-2 on the season, while the Tigers improved to 2-4.

DOUBLES ACTION
 - The Tigers jumped out to the lead after doubles action with wins at #1 and #2, while the Choctaws grabbed a victory at #3.

Ben Jarvis and
Maksym Konovalov took home the #3 win with a 6-4 decision.

Francois Le Tallec and
Shane Samyn fell at #1 by a score of 7-5, while
Matias Ballatore and
Carlos Trujillo lost 6-3 at #2.

SINGLES ACTION
 - MC grabbed a win at #1 as Le Tallec recovered from a 6-0 opening set loss to come back and win in three sets (0-6, 6-4, 6-1).
 - The Tigers would go on to win the other five singles matches in straight sets to clinch to 6-1 victory.

 - The Choctaws will be back in action on Saturday when they face Southern Arkansas at 1:00 p.m. at the OBU Invitational.
