Women's Tennis Eliminated in GSC Tournament Semi-Finals by West Florida

MONTGOMERY, Ala. --- The #44 nationally ranked Mississippi College Women's Tennis team saw their GSC Tournament run ended in the semi-finals this morning by the #2 seed West Florida Argonauts by a final score of 4-0 from Montgomery, Ala. at Lagoon Park & O'Connor Tennis Center.

MC will finish with a current record 16-6 overall. The Lady Choctaws GSC Tournament run is over but their season's fate is still up in the air. Going into today's match MC was ranked #8 in the NCAA South Regional Rankings. The top seven ranked teams will qualify for the NCAA Tournament so there is still hope for the Lady Choctaw Tennis Team. The final regional ranking will be announced on Tuesday May 7, for those rankings and updates stay tuned to gochoctaws.com.
