The tournament was held at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Magnolia Grove in Mobile, Ala. which features creeks, marshland, and lakes with each of the 54 holes carved through indigenous hardwood and pine. The Crossings course, which has hosted LPGA Tour events, provides an open parkland type ambiance and plays an even par of 72.

The Choctaws carded a round one team score of 299 (+11) which was good enough to place them tied for fifth with Montevallo at the end of day one. During round two, MC suffered a setback shooting 316 as a team which when combined with the day one total of 299 gives them their current total of 615 (+28) which is good enough for eighth place after day two of the tournament.  West Florida is still the current leading team after day two with a score of 581 (+5).
