Women's Tennis Improves to 5-1 in the GSC with a Win Over Auburn-Montgomery

CLINTON, Miss. --- The nationally ranked Mississippi College Women's Tennis team won their third Gulf South Conference match in a row this afternoon as they took down the Warhawks of Auburn-Montgomery by a final score of 4-3. The deciding point came at the hands of Sophomore RebeccaGrace Kimball in the #6 singles spot. Kimball's straight set victory gave the Lady Choctaws the win and improved them to 5-1 in GSC play and 11-4 on the year. The Warhawks will fall to 4-10 overall and 2-2 in the GSC. MC will be back in GSC action at home next weekend Saturday April 6, as they host Lee University starting at 10:00 A.M. at the MC Tennis Complex.
