Zan Ratcliffe with a career-high 21 points.

Jamilah Sanders added 16 points while
Zariah Matthews and
Coco Hobson chimed in 15 each.
Lauran Sheriff rounded out the quintet with 10 points. Hobson and Sanders paced the Navy and Gold on the glass with seven boards. MC shot 43.7 percent from the field, including a clip of 44.4 from behind the arc. The Lady Choctaws were a perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line.

Five Lady Bulldogs scored in double figures led by Jada Smith with 19 points. Morgan Martin, who recorded a double-double with 10 rebounds, and Tiffany Rechis each added 16 points. Kennedy Childers poured in 12 points followed by Avree Carpenter with 10 points. UU shot 52.4 percent from the floor, including 60 percent from the 3-point line. The Lady Bulldogs connected on 75 percent from the charity stripe.

TURNING POINT
- After MC pulled within two points at the 2:43 mark of the third quarter, Union went on a 10-4 run to close out period. Childers and Perkins each supplied four points during the run while Smith hit a trey with six ticks left in the period to secure a 72-64 lead at the end of the stanza.

- It's just the second time five, Lady Choctaws have scored in double figures in the same game this season.
- The 3-point percentage ties a season-best for the team.
- The eight 3-pointers marked a season-high and surpassed the previous best of six set three times this season.
- The 81 points is the most scored against Union in series history and surpassed the previous high of 71 set against the Lady Bulldogs twice (2016, 2017).
- MC held a 10-point advantage with 5:58 in the first quarter. It was the largest lead of the game for the Lady Choctaws.
- Union has scored 90-plus points in four of the meetings in the series.

Mississippi College returns to action on Thursday, Feb. 14 as it travels to Valdosta, Ga., to face Valdosta State University. Tip-off is set for 5 p.m. central.
