GAME NOTES
  • Mississippi College returns to Gulf South Conference play this weekend as the Lady Choctaws travel to the State of Georgia for a pair of contests. The two affairs wrap up a three-game, road swing for the Lady Choctaws, which began with an 81-79 overtime win at Southern Arkansas on New Year's Eve afternoon.
  • The Peach State opponents are the first two on the slate for the Lady Choctaws and the only meeting with the two schools this season. MC has a scheduled home-and-home series with Valdosta State University later on the campaign.
  • Three Lady Choctaws scored in double figures in the win at Southern Arkansas. Seniors Zan Ratcliffe and Jamilah Sanders scored career-highs with 19 and 16 points respectively while junior Coco Hobson posted a season-best 18 points.
