MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Mississippi College volleyball team fell in straight sets at Christian Brothers University on Saturday, Sept. 22. The setback moves the Choctaws to 7-9 on the season and 1-4 in the Gulf South Conference. CBU improved to 7-9 and 2-3 in the league.

TURNING POINT
Trailing 2-0, Mississippi College attempted to rally in the third set as it held a 9-1 lead. CBU battled back and evened the set at 23-all as it capitalized on a Choctaw attack miscue. After the Lady Bucs grabbed a narrow one-point lead, MC knotted the contest at 24-all on a
Jamie Boros' kill. However, CBU wouldn't be denied the straight set win as it closed the set out with the final two points.

- Sophomore Hannah Rue tallied a season-high in blocks. Bests her previous mark set against William Carey earlier this season.
