Softball Preview: Miles

CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College softball team will play their final non-conference home games of the season on Wednesday when they host Miles College for a doubleheader at 3:00 p.m. at the MC Softball Complex.

THE SERIES

MC and Miles have met seven previous times with the Lady Choctaws winning all seven contests, including a doubleheader in Pleasant Grove, Ala. earlier this season. This will be just the second time the Golden Bears have made the trip to Clinton with the Lady Choctaws winning both ends of a doubleheader (10-2, 11-7).

On February 27th, MC traveled to Alabama and grabbed a pair of wins (11-1, 7-2). Junior Penny Nichols allowed just two hits in the first contest, while junior Cori Cooper struck out a school record 13 in the finale.
