MEMPHIS, Tenn. --- The Mississippi College men's soccer team fell in GSC action to Christian Brothers tonight by a score of 1-0.
The Choctaws will fall to 5-4 overall and 3-3 in GSC play.
The Buccaneers will improve to 3-4-2 overall and 2-1-2 in GSC play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the first half, both teams were evenly matched and neither team could get on the board in the first 45 minutes of play.
- In the second half, CBU was able to break the game open when in the 60
th minute Maxi Schwoche scores the matches lone goal in an unassisted effort giving the Buccaneers the eventual 1-0 win.
- MC tried to tie the match late with a header from
Javier Avelar missing wide and a shot by
Wanner Paiz was saved as time expired.

KEY STATS
-Â The Choctaws were held to only nine shots in the match, which is their lowest shot attempt mark of the season.
- There were 24 fouls called in the match, 14 on MC and 10 on CBU.
- Freshman
Goncalo Pernas made his first career start in goal and recorded four saves on ten shots faced in the losing effort.
