CLEVELAND, Tenn. --- The Mississippi College women's soccer team played the #13 ranked Nighthawks of the University of North Georgia to a 0-0 draw on Sunday afternoon.

KEY STATS
- The Lady Choctaws took 11 shots in the contest, while giving up 14 to the Nighthawks. The Lady Choctaws took five shots in the first half, and two in the second.
- MC was able to tally five shots on goal in the contest, compared to just two for North Georgia.
- Sophomore Liza Wise and Senior Caitlin Hayes both took a team-high two shots in the contest. Wise, Hayes, Samantha Carson, Lindsey Stephenson and Katie Taylor all recorded a shot on goal on the afternoon.
- In goal, Andrea McDonald picked up her first shutout of the 2017 season for the Lady Choctaws. The junior keeper tallied two saves on the day, while seeing her 2017 record go to 0-0-1.
- MC took five corner kicks in the game, while allowing just three from North Georgia.
- The Lady Choctaws were tagged for 11 fouls in the match, while the Nighthawks were charged with 12.

- With the draw, the Lady Choctaws 2017 record now sits at 1-0-1 for the season. MC was able to gain three points in their first weekend of action in the 2017 season.
- With Sunday's draw, the Lady Choctaws have yet to allow a goal in 2017 through two matches.
