Men’s Soccer Outlasts Spring Hill in Overtime, 2-1

MOBILE, Ala. --- Senior midfielder Dinho Zwane delivered the game-winning goal in the 98th minute of overtime to lift the number 25-ranked Mississippi College men's soccer team over the Badgers of Spring Hill College in Gulf South Conference action on Sunday afternoon.

TURNING POINT
- Zwane's golden goal in overtime served as his third of the season. Marco Profumo delivered a pass from a pack of players in front of the Spring Hill goal to a wide-open Zwane, who punched it in from 10 yards out to secure the walk-off win for the Choctaws.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Spring Hill drew first blood in the contest, when Timo Schabetsberger found the back of the net in the 29th minute. Both Alexander Lipinski and Ibrahima Ndaw helped set up the score.
- Fast forward to the second period, when freshman forward Victor Bazan notched the equalizer for MC in the 68th minute. The goal, coming off of a penalty kick, served as Bazan's third for the season.
- Neither team was able to get on the board for the remaining time in regulation, sending the match to overtime where the Choctaws would seal the deal.
