CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College men's basketball team will head to Cleveland, Miss. on Monday night to face long-time rival Delta State at 7:30 p.m. in Walter Sillers Coliseum.

THE SERIES
This will be the 93rd all-time meeting between the two Magnolia State rivals with Delta State holding a 54-37-1 edge in the series. The teams split last year's meetings with the home teams grabbing both wins, but the Statesmen came to Clinton on December 1st and picked up a 68-58 win. The Choctaws' last win in Cleveland was on February 25th, 1995 in a 76-69 victory.

LAST GAME: The Statesmen won their third straight game with a 72-58 upset victor of #24 Valdosta State on Saturday afternoon. DSU shot 55% from the field in the second half to pull away for the victory. PJ Davis came off the bench to lead the way with 17 points, while Cedric Harper had 14 points and 15 rebounds. Beau Justice led all scorers with 22 for VSU.
Mississippi College is a private Christian university located in Clinton, Mississippi with an enrollment of over 5,000 students.
