CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College women's basketball team returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 11 as the Lady Choctaws host Lee University. Tip-off for the Gulf South Conference contest is set for 2 p.m.

THE SERIES
Mississippi College looks for its first win in program history against Lee. The Flames are 5-0 all-time against the Lady Choctaws including a 77-66 win in Cleveland, Tenn.

MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE NOTES
Mississippi College snapped a three-game slide with a 64-58 win over Shorter University on Thursday evening at A.E. Wood Coliseum. Kelley Allen led MC with 18 points and 11 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the season.

Kaitlyn Thompson provided valuable playing time in the win over the Hawks. The freshman totaled seven points and six rebounds in 21 minutes of action off the bench.

The Lady Choctaws sit seventh in the Gulf South Conference standings heading into the Saturday contest. The top eight teams in the conference qualify for the GSC Championships. 

LEE NOTES
Lee had a four-game win streak ended on Thursday evening as Delta State handed the Flames a 60-56 in Cleveland, Miss. Lindsey Roddy led LU with 16 points off the bench as she went 6-for-8, including 50 percent from behind the arc, and 3-of-3 from the charity stripe.

The Flames sit third in the GSC standings and a game back of Valdosta State for second and a game ahead of North Alabama in fourth.

Mississippi College returns to action on Thursday, Feb. 16 as it travels to Memphis, Tenn., to face Christian Brothers University. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m.
