MONTGOMERY, Ala. --- The Mississippi College women's soccer team punched their ticket to the Gulf South Conference Championship game with their 2-0 shutout win over West Florida on Friday evening. With the Win, the Lady Choctaws improve to 15-2-1 on the season.

th minute, doubling MC's lead to 2-0. The score gave the Lady Choctaws enough breathing room to secure the 2-0 win.

- MC broke the scoreless draw in the 39

Katie Taylor played a ball to
Holly Pascoe in the box, who would go on to connect for her third goal of the season.

Andrea McDonald thwarted UWF best scoring opportunity in the 63
rd minute, when she left her feet to just tip away a UWF free kick.
- Smith's left-footed strike midway through the second period would go on to pave the way for the 2-0 final.

- The Lady Choctaws took eight shots on the night, with four on frame. MC took six shots in the first period, and two in the second.
