Lauren Smith sealed the deal for the Lady Choctaws in their 1-0 overtime victory over the West Georgia Wolves on Friday afternoon. With the win, the Lady Choctaws improve to 9-1-1 overall, and 8-1 in Gulf South Conference play.

- Smith's game-winning goal marked for her team-leading fifth on the season, and her team-best third game-winning strike on the season. Smith took advantage off a ball she found after a Lady Wolf touch, and was able to find nylon on a breakaway by beating the West Georgia keeper.
Andrea McDonald was credited for the assist.
- The Lady Choctaws outshot the Wolves 22-6 in the match, with five of the Lady Choctaws shots coming on goal.
- MC took eight shots in the first period, nine in the second, and five in overtime.
