THE SERIES
Mississippi College looks for its fourth in the series against West Georgia. UWG has claimed nine meetings. MC snapped a four-game skid against the Lady Wolves last season with a 60-43 win in Clinton on Jan. 21.

MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE NOTES
Mississippi College claimed its sixth win in the series with West Alabama with a 75-72 on Saturday at A.E. Wood Coliseum. The win breaks a tied series with UWA and snapped a four-game slide against the Tigers.

Ashley Minor became the second Lady Choctaw to score 20-plus points this season with a career-high 23 to lead MC in the win over UWA. Kelley Allen sits as the only other MC player with 20 or more points as she scored 22 against Delta State earlier this season.

Allen enters Monday's tilt ranked second in the GSC in steals per game. The Puckett, Miss., native 2.9 this season and sits only behind Taylor Adams of Shorter University.

WEST GEORGIA NOTES
West Georgia enters the Monday contest sitting tied for third in the Gulf South Conference after having its two-game win streak snapped in a 63-56 loss at Delta State on Saturday. UWG is knotted up with Lee and North Alabama.

The Wolves have won five of their last seven outings to draw a .500 overall record after starting the season 0-3 with losses to Tuskegee, North Georgia and Georgia Southwestern - all in non-conference action.

NEXT UP
Mississippi College continues its season-long, four-game homestand on Thursday, Jan. 12 as it faces the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Tip-off against UAH is slated for 5:30 p.m.
