THE SERIES
The series between Mississippi College and West Alabama is deadlocked at 10 games each, despite UWA taking the last four meetings since the series has been renewed. MC's last win over the Tigers came on Feb. 12, 1997 - the last outing between the two schools before the series resumed in 2014.

MISSISSIPPI COLLEGE NOTES
Saturday starts a season-long four-game homestand for Mississippi College. The Navy and Gold host GSC opponents West Georgia, UAH and North Alabama following the tilt with UWA.

The Lady Choctaws look to snap a four-game slide and garner its first win over West Alabama since 1997.

Olivia Mabry sits atop the NCAA in free throw percentage this season with a clip of 96.4. The percentage has helped guide the Meridian, Miss., native to third in program history in free throw percentage at a clip of 82.9 for her three seasons with the program.

Kelley Allen ranks 27th in the NCAA in steals per game, which also sits second in the GSC. The Puckett, Miss., product is averaging 2.75 swipes per contest and ranks just behind Taylor Adams from Shorter for the lead in the GSC. Adams has 2.80 steals per game.

WEST ALABAMA NOTES
West Alabama has lost its last three outings, including conference contests with Shorter (74-62) and Lee (67-56). Also included in the streak is a non-conference loss to Auburn Montgomery (72-69).

Ariel Wilson and Chloe Culpepper lead the Lady Tigers. Wilson sits tops on the team in points (15.3) and assists (3.4) while Culpepper leads the team in rebounds (5.9) and blocks (0.8).
