CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College volleyball team picked up its first win in series history over Mississippi Valley State with a 3-0 victory over the Delta Devilettes. MC improved to 2-1 on the season while MVSU falls to 1-4.
"Tonight was a collection of all we've been working on over the past few weeks. It was a team effort between defense and offense and it was a great show to watch," said head coach
Julie Redus. "Our right side hitters worked hard to find the floor and our blockers were consistently moving around to anticipate what was coming next and gave us a couple key points at the net. We were the team who adjusted the quickest each set. We served aggressively and utilized our strengths to fill the gaps and to close the door."
