CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College women's basketball team travels to Huntsville, Ala., for its final road game of the 2015-16 season as the Lady Choctaws (5-16, 3-15 GSC) face the University of Alabama in Huntsville in Gulf South Conference action. Tip is set for 2 p.m.
 
Saturday marks the eighth meeting between Mississippi College and UAH. The Chargers hold the advantage in the series at 5-2, including the last five affairs.
 
MC looks to rebound from an 81-69 setback at North Alabama on Thursday evening. The Lady Choctaws placed five players in double figures led by Carla Clemmons' 14 points off the bench. Clemmons also tied for tops on the team in rebounds with seven and added five blocks. The five rejections propelled the Rome, Ga., native into third in single-season blocks with 38. The junior is just two shy of cracking the top 10 in career blocks in just her first season.
 
Kristen Sampson and Chloe Roberts, who also grabbed seven boards, each added 13 points. Allie Hill chimed in 11 points while Toni Woods rounded out the group with 10 points.
 
UAH picked up a 57-52 win on Thursday night, knocking off Delta State by a 57-52 score at Spragins Hall. The Chargers improve to 12-10 (9-9 GSC). The victory snapped a four-game skid for UAH. Josi Saunders scored 15, grabbed six rebounds, and dished out six assists to lead the Chargers in the contest, and Dina Saunders joined her sister in double figures as she notched a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds – her second double-double of the season.
 
Following the final road trip, Mississippi College opens a three-game homestand to close out the campaign. MC starts the span on Thursday, Feb. 18 as it hosts Lee University. Tip is set for 5:30 p.m.
