Ashley Minor each scored in double figures in the setback as Allen led with 18 points while Minor added 13 points.

The Lady Choctaws shot a season-low 31 percent against the Lady Flames and were outrebounded for only the second time this season.

Mississippi College has three players that are averaging double-digits this season with Allen leading the way with 12.4 points per game. Minor and
Toni Woods are both hovering around 10 points per contest with Minor at 10.2 and Woods at 10.

The Lady Choctaws rank second in the GSC in 3-point field goal percentage defense. MC has held its opponents to 24.5 percent from behind the arc this season. The mark sits less two percent by the GSC leader West Florida.

SHORTER UNIVERSITY NOTES
Shorter logged its first Gulf South Conference win of the season on Thursday evening with a 61-54 victory over Delta State. The win moved Shorter to 2-5 on the season and 1-1 in conference play.

The Lady Hawks boast the nation's leading scorer, Taylor Adams. The senior is averaging 23.4 points per game this season. Adams also ranks among the conference leaders in rebounds with 12.9. Adams is one of five players in the GSC averaging a double-double this season.

Kayla Tillie joins Adams in scoring leaders for the Blue and White as she averages 12.9 points per contest.
