ARKADELPHIA, Ark. --- The Mississippi College men's soccer team fell to the Tigers of Ouachita Baptist 2-0 on Friday afternoon. The loss brings MC's overall record to 9-3-2 on the year.

The Choctaws took 12 shots in the contest, with five shots on goal. MC took five shots in the first half, and seven in the second half.

Tinashe Chigede scored the eventual game-winning goal for Ouachita Baptist in the 49
th minute via a penalty kick. Ryan Turner picked up a late goal for the Tigers in the 84
th minute, with the help of Tinashe Chigede.

Jorge Delgado led the way offensively for the Choctaws, registering five shots and two shots on goal for the day.
George Fradenburg and
Dinho Zwane both tallied two shots, with both of Fradenburg's being on frame.
Jacob Farthing posted a shot on goal, and
Connor Johnson and
Horacio Gutierrez Jr. both accounted for a shot taken in the match.

In goal,
Hayden Mays grabbed six saves on the day.
Humberto Pelaez started the match for the Choctaws, but was relieved by Mays, who played the final 76 minutes of the match. The freshman goalkeeper's record now sits at 1-1 for the season.

The Choctaws took six corner kicks in the contest, to Tiger's 10. The Choctaws did not commit an offside infraction, while the Tigers were tagged for three. MC committed 10 fouls, while Ouachita Baptist was whistled for three. The Choctaws received the game's lone yellow card in the 64
th minute.

The will return to action on Sunday, when they host the Bison of Harding University in their last regular season game of the 2016 season. Approximately 10 minutes prior to the 2:00 p.m. start time, the senior class for MC consisting of 12 players will be honored as part of Senior Day festivities. Â Â
