CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College volleyball team returns to action this weekend. The Lady Choctaws' road trip opens on Friday, Oct. 28 in Carrollton, Ga., against the University of West Georgia. Match time is slated for 6 p.m. central.

The road swing wraps up on Saturday, Oct. 29 against the University of West Alabama. First serve in Livingston, Ala., is set for 1 p.m.

Mississippi College seeks its four straight win over West Georgia on Friday and its fifth in the series. The Lady Choctaws look to snap a six-game skid against West Alabama and clinch its first win over the Tigers since 2002.

Madison Kimes moved into 10th in single-season digs in school history on Tuesday. The St. Louis, Mo., native tallied 12 digs to give her 312 on the season. The junior stands 23 digs away from ninth and 29 from tying for eighth.

Jamila Biglow and
Kayana Mitchell continue to be a force at the net. Biglow is three solo blocks away from cracking the top 10 in a season. The Colorado Springs, Colo., senior has a team-best 19 this season. Mitchell slid up the ranking in single-season block assists on Tuesday. The Southaven, Miss., junior is now tied for seventh in a season with 56.

With a team-best eight kills against West Florida,
Jenna Campbell is 10 kills away from making the single-season kills list. The League City, Texas, native has 206 kills on the season - which leads the squad.

West Georgia and West Alabama square off Thursday evening in Carrollton, Ga. UWG is riding a nine-game, losing streak while UWA has won two of its last five outings, including a 3-0 win over Spring Hill.

The Wolves are led by Katie Hanson with 131 kills on the season. Madi Fleming paces the Red and Blue with 379 assists and 132 digs this season.

UWA's Briana Sandifer lead with 346 kills this season and has a team-best 27 service aces. Callie Murphy directs the offense with 884 assists while Abby Ames has 316 digs and Jamie Lancellot has totaled 61 blocks.

Following the weekend road trip, Mississippi College returns to Clinton, Miss., for its final home weekend of the season. The Lady Choctaws welcome North Alabama and UAH to A.E. Wood Coliseum. Senior Day is scheduled for Saturday against UAH.
