ORLANDO, Fla. --- The Mississippi College volleyball team returns to action on Friday, Oct. 14 as the Lady Choctaws (8-11) participate in the NCAA Division II South Region Crossover. MC faces Florida Tech at 11:15 a.m. central followed by a 6 p.m. outing against Embry-Riddle.

MC, which is 2-0 in neutral site contests this season and is 7-1 in non-conference play, looks to snap a three-game skid entering the Crossover after falling 3-1 at Valdosta State on Wednesday evening.

The Lady Choctaws are led by
Jenna Campbell with 153 kills while
Kayana Mitchell broke the century mark at VSU. The Southaven, Miss., native has 103 kills on the season.

Bailee Berringer is narrowing in on the 300 assist mark this season. The Dickinson, Texas, product has 295 on the campaign while fellow setter
Sydney Chandler has dished out 268 assists.

Defensively, the trio of
Madison Kimes, Mitchell and
Jamila Biglow lead the effort. Kimes paces the squad with 250 digs while Mitchell and Biglow have combined for 97 of the team's 104 blocks.
The Navy and Gold close out the two-day event on Saturday, Oct. 15 against Rollins College at 1:30 p.m. central.
