CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College men's tennis team erased an early deficit to take a 6-3 win over Lee Unviersity on Saturday afternoon at the MC Tennis Complex.

Sanders Barrick won their match at #3 by a score of 8-3.
In singles play, MC stormed back to win 5-of-6 matches. Each win came in straight sets as freshman
Joan Valy won at #1 over Alberto Calle (6-1, 3-0 ret.) and freshman
Lucio Menezes won at #2 over Ignacio Salom (6-2, 6-0).

Jose Rodrigo Gonzalez picked up a 6-3, 6-1 win over Westley Lemke at #5, while Barris grabbed a 6-1, 6-1 win at #6. Freshman
Petar Damjanovic defeated Daniel Hardesty at #4 (7-5, 7-6 (5)) and the Choctaws had their first Gulf South Conference win of the season.
The Choctaws will be back in action on Tuesday when they will host Lindenwood at 2:00 p.m. at the MC Tennis Complex.
