CLINTON, Miss. --- The Mississippi College football team will honor 14 seniors playing in the final home games of their careers as they welcome the University of West Alabama to Robinson-Hale Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Kick-off is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. with the pre-game show on WHJT Star 93.5 FM beginning at 2:30 p.m.
The seniors that will be recognized prior to Saturday's game will be:

Jacob Antonio (McCalla, Ala.),
Jacob Becker (Tyler, Texas),
Kirk Bryant (Bullard, Texas),
Beaux Gipson (Shreveport, La.),
Jaime Harris (Frisco, Texas),
Dylan Klibert (LaPlace, La.),
D'Angelious Packer (Eight Mile, Ala.),
Jonathon Redd (Mobile, Ala.),
Jordan Vander Vorste (Tyler, Texas),
Jake Weddle (Frisco, Texas),
Ben Wiles (Long Beach, Miss.),
Josh Williams (Tyler, Texas) and
Jonotario Woodcox (Jackson, Miss.).
At halftime of the game, the 1989 Mississippi College football team will be recognized with it being the 25th anniversary of winning the national championship game over Jacksonville State, 3-0. In the playoffs, the Choctaws beat four teams ranked in the top-10, including two teams that were previously undefeated.
The current Choctaws (1-7, 0-5 GSC) come into Saturday's contest off their best offensive output of the season, piling up 323 total yards of offense against West Georgia. Junior running back
Chris Ingram rushed 16 times for 78 yards and a touchdown, while sophomore running back
James Banks rushed for 75 yards and caught a 33-yard touchdown pass from freshman quarterback
Kyle Smith.
The defense started out strong against the Wolves, forcing two turnovers on downs on UWG's first two possessions. Freshman linebacker
Kaleb Coleman tallied a career-high 14 tackles with eight solo stops, while junior
Seth McDonald and freshman
Brannon Schaffer each had a sack in the game.
Ingram leads the team with 426 rushing yards and four scores, while
Kyle Smith has a team-high five rushing touchdowns with 220 yards on the ground. Redd leads the way with 271 passing yards, while Smith has passed for 269 yards and two scores.
Sophomore
Reggie Bennett has a team-high 76 tackles and has recorded three pass breakups. Coleman has 48 tackles and 3.0 tackles for loss, while junior
C.J. O'Quinn has a team-high 7.0 tackles for loss. Freshman
Brannon Schaffer paces the squad with 3.5 sacks, while Klibert has a team-high two interceptions, returning one for a score.
This will be the 41st meeting between the Choctaws and the Tigers with the series being split, 19-19-2. They opened the series in 1946, but have played just one time since 1997, a 41-3 win for West Alabama. Millsaps (52 games) is the only team MC has played more often in school history than UWA.
The Tigers (4-5, 1-4 GSC) are coming off a tough loss to Valdosta State last Thursday, 24-17. In that contest, the Tigers had the ball at midfield with an opportunity to tie the game on the final play, but a Blazer interception ended the game.
Senior quarterback Kyle Caldwell leads the offensive attack, posting a team-high 357 rushing yards with four touchdowns along with 1,890 passing yards and 16 scores. He is completing 59% of his passes and has thrown just nine interceptions in 228 pass attempts.
Javae Swindle leads the team with 412 net rushing yards, while Tyler Rogers is tied with Caldwell for the team-lead with four scores. Senior Chad Toocheck has a team-high 33 receptions for 544 yards, while Daryl Collins has caught 29 passes for a team-high six touchdowns.
Fred Barnes (48 tackles) and Quinton Harton (47 tackles) are the top tacklers for the Tigers, while Barnes has 7.5 tackles for loss and two interceptions. Tirelle Cullen leads the team with 3.5 sacks, while Jared Washington has a team-high 8.0 tackles for loss.
