Whitney Enis enters her second season as a graduate assistant for the women's basketball program at Mississippi College. She comes back to MC after spending her senior season playing for the Lady Choctaws.
Enis averaged 5.8 points per game and led the team with 56 assists. She shot 36% (50-140) from the floor and 34% (24-71) from the three-point line. Enis scored a season-high 14 points on three occasions, including in two of the final three games of the season.
Enis played for coach Shanna Briggs at Hardin-Simmons University for three seasons before coming to MC. As a junior, she played in 25 games and averaged 5.1 points and 1.4 rebounds per game, while tallying 44 assists on the year. Enis had a season-best 24 points against Austin College and shot 81% from the free throw line.
She is the daughter of Curtis and Rhonda Enis and is majoring in Exercise Science.
