Sophomore Emily Newman led the Lady Choctaws to an undefeated week with wins over Millsaps, Oglethorpe, and UT-Dallas.  In the singles win over Millsaps, Newman dropped the first set before coming back to win the final two sets, including an 11-9 win in the clinching set.  In the singles wins over Oglethorpe, Newman dropped only five games en route to two straight set wins.

Newman teamed up with senior Sarah Spraberry to win both of their doubles matches.  Against Oglethorpe, the tandem swept their opponents.  Newman and Spraberry only dropped one game against UT-Dallas.

The Lady Choctaws have been very impressive of late, winning their last three matches and improving to 2-1 in the ASC.
