Junior running back Brian Whitehurst (Fort Meade, FL / Wofford College) totaled 160 yards and four touchdowns on 22 carries in a 45-42 loss to Louisiana College. Whiethurst, who also caught two passes, came off the bench as the fifth-string running back and found the end zone four times in the second half to help the Choctaws erase a 24-7 deficit at halftime. The four rushing scores are the most in the ASC this season.
