Shuntavia Rodgers posted a career-high in Saturday’s win at the University of Alabama in Huntsville as she compiled 10 points to help MC pick up its 10th win of the season. The point total surpassed her previous high of nine points in the win at Valdosta State last season. The redshirt sophomore was one of three Lady Choctaws in double figures in the contest as the Navy and Gold clinched a season sweep over the Chargers. The Memphis, Tenn., native shot 33.3 percent from the field for the weekend and averaged 7.5 points per game.
 
Mississippi College returns to A.E. Wood Coliseum on Thursday, Feb. 2 as it welcomes Valdosta State. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m. MC took a 65-63 victory at Valdosta State on Jan. 21.
