Sophomore Davy Fisher (Rome, Ga.) has been named the Mississippi College Wright & Ferguson Athlete of the Week.
Fisher scored a career-high 15 points, going 5-of-6 from the floor and 3-of-4 from the three-point line in a loss at Union on Monday night. His career-high 28 minutes also saw two rebounds and one steal.
For the week, Fisher averaged 8.5 points and 2.5 rebounds, shooting 75% from the field and 60% from the three-point line.
Fisher and the Choctaws have three home games this week, hosting West Georgia (Jan. 9), UAH (Jan. 12) and North Alabama (Jan. 14) in A.E. Wood Coliseum.
