The Mississippi College women’s basketball team dropped their first GSC game of the season to West Alabama on Thursday, 69-64. Sophomore Chloe Roberts led a quartet of Lady Choctaws in double figures with 17 points. It marks the third time this season that the Reagen, Tenn., native has led the squad in scoring and marks her fourth contest in double figures. Reagan had two steals with five assists in the game, while putting up four rebounds.
The Lady Choctaws fell short to West Georgia on Saturday in a close game, 58-57. Roberts, who gave MC the lead at the break behind a 3-pointer, supplied 13 points. She went 4-for-4 from the free throw line. She put up five rebounds with two steals and three assists.
The Lady Choctaws will be back in action on Thursday as they host Union at A.E. Wood Coliseum at 5:30 p.m.
