Junior Antonio Johnson led the Choctaws to a 1-1 record on the week, collecting an 83-65 win over Selma after a 68-58 GSC-opening loss to rival Delta State on Thursday night. The McComb native scored a career-high 26 points against DSU, going 6-of-14 from the three-point line in 39 minutes played. Johnson followed up the career-high wtih 13 points and a career-high eight rebounds and six assists in the win over Selma.

Johnson and the Choctaws will return to action on December 15th when they travel to Cleveland, TN to face Lee University.
