Kaleigh Akers won the 3,000 meters. The Daphne, Ala., native posted a time of 10:55.73. Akers won the event over teams from Division I, II and III. The time marks her best in the 3,000 in collegiate career. Mississippi College finished ninth at the Birmingham Southern Icebreaker.
