Sophomore Anna Grace Govero (Clinton, Miss.) won two events at the Rose-Hulman Engineer Invitational on Saturday, contributing 30 points to the Lady Choctaws third place finish.

Govero finished first in the high jump with a distance of 5’04.25 while also claiming first in the long jump event with a 17’07.50 distance. In the 60 meter hurdles, Govero finished fourth with a time of 9.33. Govero joined Alex Buchanan, Kiana Grant, and Evu Young to place 3rd with a time of 4:11.95 in the 4x400 meter relay.Â
The Mississippi College women’s track and field team will be back in action on Saturday as they travel to Sewanee, Tenn. to compete in the Sewanee Invitational set to begin at 9:00 a.m.Â
