Senior Tory Rice (Starkville, Miss.) led the Choctaws with 17 points, going 6-for-8 from the field and recording 12 rebounds against West Georgia on Thursday.
Against West Alabama, Rice tallied his 22nd career double-double and eighth of the season with 20 points and 11 rebounds, going 7-of-8 from the field.
The Starkville native became the 56th player in school history to score 600 career points and is the 22nd player ever to grab 400 rebounds.
On the season, Rice ranks first on the team with 14.1 points per game, shooting 57% from the field. Rice leads the team with 11.9 rebounds per game and has recorded 178 rebounds so far this season.
The Choctaws will be back in action on Thursday as they travel to Memphis, Tenn. to face Christain Brothers at 7:00 p.m.
