Mississippi Colege Athletics

The Mississippi College women’s cross country team competed in the Gulf South Conference Championship on Saturday at Oakville Indian Mounds Course.

Freshman Bobbi LaBrant (Largo, Fla.) ran a personal best in the race with a time of 20:10.24 to finish 43^rd out of 93 runners. LeBrant had an average time per mile of 6:48 in the 5K event.

The Lady Choctaws will be back in action on November 14^th, as they travel to Buffalo, N.Y. to compete in the NCCAA National Championships.
