Freshman Will Young (Nacogdoches, Texas) finished first at the MC Season Opener at Choctaw Trails with a time of 16:10.  

The Mississippi College men's cross country team took first, tallying 27 points at the season opener. 

The Choctaws will be back in action on Saturday as they travel to Denton, Texas for the North Texas Invitational, set to begin at 8:00 a.m.
