The Mississippi College men's basketball team had a split week as they defeated North Alabama 81-68 on Monday and fell to Shorter in a tight match 85-90 on Saturday. 

Against North Alabama, junior Tory Rice tallied his fifth double-double of the season with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Against Shorter, Rice tallied his sixth double-double of the year with 16 points and 10 rebounds, going 6-of-10 from the field and 4-of-4 from the free throw line. 

The Choctaws will be back in action on Monday night as they host Lee (Tenn.) at A.E. Wood Coliseum at 8:00 p.m.
