Senior Chris Casto tallied the first two Choctaw home runs of the season in a series sweep of the University of the Ozarks.

The Olive Branch, Miss. native opened the first game with a homerun before recording back-to-back doubles in game two to give MC the 6-4 advantage over Ozarks.  He tallied his second home run in the final game of the series to help the Choctaws to an 11-6 victory over the Eagles.

On the week, Casto recorded a .375 batting average with two doubles, two home runs, five runs scored, and a team-high seven RBI.

Casto and the Choctaws will look to extend their seven-game winning streak as they host Concordia Texas for a three-game series beginning with a doubleheader on Friday starting at 3:00 p.m. followed by a single-game on Saturday at noon at Frierson Field.
