The Mississippi College football team closed out their 2014 with a hard fought loss, 27-3, to Delta State on Saturday afternoon.

In the first half, freshman, quarterback, Kyle Smith (Petal, Miss.) led the MC offense with nine carries for 105 yards. MC rushed for 203 yards on 33 carries in the first half. Smith had a season-high 128 yards on 17 carries for the game.  

The Choctaws will open their 2015 season on September 5th when they host Texas College at Robinson-Hale Stadium.
