Junior Ewahia Amhanesi has scored both goals for the MC Men's Soccer team as they opened the season with a 1-1 record.

In the season opener against Lynn University, the 2012 Division II national champions, Amhanesi scored the first goal of the season for the Choctaws in the second half. In the win over Louisiana College on Saturday, he struck again, as both goals were assisted by senior Brian Vasquez.

The Choctaws will be back in action on Tuesday night when they travel to face LSU-Alexandria at 7:00 p.m. The next home game will be Friday when they host William Carey at 3:00 p.m.
